# CAES Mark Usage Policy

The CAES name and associated marks designate conformance with a specific published version of the Constitutional AI Execution Standard.

## Permitted Use

An implementation MAY use the CAES mark only if:

1. A complete Conformance Statement is publicly available.
2. The specific CAES version is cited.
3. The claimed compliance level is declared.

## Prohibited Use

The CAES mark MUST NOT be used:

- Without a published Conformance Statement
- Without version citation
- To imply endorsement by CAES-WG
- To imply certification unless explicitly designated

## Badge Usage

Conformance badges must:

- Include CAES version
- Include compliance level
- Not be modified in shape or proportion
- Not use gradients or visual distortion

CAES-WG reserves the right to request removal of mark usage if claims are incomplete or misleading.
